12 Weeks to the Jules Taylor Wines Marlborough Women’s Triathlon

I’ve prepared a twelve week training programme to prepare you for the Jules Taylor Wines Women’s Marlborough Triathlon. Each Thursday I will post it here for you to follow along with. This programme starts Monday 5 September.Have you entered for the Jules Taylor Wines Marlborough Triathlon? If not I strongly encourage you to do so NOW. Click here to register. Key Point for the Week

The success of any programme comes down to consistency. The first few weeks of the programme are all about creating consistent workout habits. Make sure you get out each day and enjoy the workouts.

Next weeks training

Monday –  5th September

Run/Walk (30min) – 5min Walking Warm Up; 10x 1min Run (or Jog), 1min Walk; 5min Walking Cool Down

Tuesday

Swim – two lengths, taking as much rest as you need to between lengths

Wednesday

Bike (30min) steady

Thursday

Run/Walk (30min) – Same as Monday

Friday

Stretching Day (30min)

Saturday

Swim – three lengths, taking as much rest as you need to between lengths

Sunday

Bike (30min) steady
