The Ring of Fire is an exciting new ultramarathon being held around Mt Ruapehu in April. This training plan will take experienced and fit trail runners and increase their fitness level to enable them to comfortably compete this first time event.

This programme is made up of four run sessions each week.

Prior to using this plan, you should be able to run for 2 hours continuously. Each week you will be challenged to run a little further with in run sessions.
