“Training for excellence, with excellent training.”

When you finish the Big Tahuna whether the 3km or the 1km swim, you will have accomplished something very special.

Purchasing any of these plans gives you access to my fortnightly coaching calls where you can ask me any training or racing related questions.

Please note:

• All these training plans start on Monday 24 December 2018 and finish on race day.

3km Big Tahuna Training Plan (INTERMEDIATE 10wk plan)

Designed for Intermediate Swimmers who are looking to complete the Big Tahuna Ocean Swim event, the primary goal of this training plan is to prepare you to COMPLETE YOUR event.

Starting 10 weeks before the Big Tahuna (on 24 December 2018), this plan progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance. Each week typically contains 3x swims, as well as an open water swim session and a flexibility session. Although not necessary, I recommend using a GPS watch (such as a Garmin).

Prior to using this plan, you should be able to complete a 3,000m swim workout.
