Thursday Training Plan – 18 week Auckland Marathon & Half Marathon Training Plans

The Auckland full and half marathon is a great event held each year, this year on the 31st October. When you cross the finish line you will have achieved something special at this great event.

Programmes designed for either beginner or intermediate runners who are looking to complete either the half or the full marathon, these plans will help you achieve your goals.

Crafted by myself, Ray Boardman PGDipSportsMed, PGDipRehab, PGCertSc (Exercise Science), BSc (Anatomy), DipSportsStudies this plan encapsulates my passion for the sport, my experience from completing dozens of marathon events and triathlons and my success coaching hundreds of athletes.

Being 18 weeks in duration (starting on Monday 28-Jun-21), these plans progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance in time for the Auckland Marathon or Half Marathon.
