The crystal-clear lake Vättern provides a stunning centre point for this race, launching athletes into enchanting forests and expansive views over the Swedish countryside. Most notably captured by fairy-tale artist John Bauer, Jönköping’s landscape has a sprinkling of magic. Designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve, the area features a total of nine lakes, which athletes will enjoy on the swim, bike, and run courses.
