12 week Loop the Lake Training Plan starts 31-Jan-22

The Loop the Lake is an iconic event that sees you circumnavigate around the scenic Lake Rotoiti, in the Nelson Lakes National Park. It is put on by Nelson Events and held each April.

Programmes designed for either beginner or intermediate athletes who are looking to complete in the Loop the Lake, these plans will help you achieve your goals.

Crafted by myself, Ray Boardman PGDipSportsMed, PGDipRehab, PGCertSc (Exercise Science), BSc (Anatomy), DipSportsStudies this plan encapsulates my passion for the sport, my experience from completing dozens of marathons and triathlons and my success coaching hundreds of athletes.

Being 12 weeks in duration (starting on Monday 31-January-22), these plans progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance in time for the Loop the Lake.
