Ironman Training Plans: 12 week Ironman Texas starts 31-Jan-22

Everything is bigger in the Lone Star State. Whether it be the epic belt buckle medals or the athlete’s aspirations that take on this storied IRONMAN race. For over 10 years, Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas has called those with the Texan-spirit at heart. Those willing to fight for what they want. Those willing to come and take the IRONMAN finish line for themselves. Athletes will take on a 2.4-mile, point-to-point swim, a PR pace 112-mile ride on closed toll roads and experience one of the most spirited 26.2 mile runs in North America.

Programmes designed for either beginner or intermediate triathletes who are looking to complete their Ironman event, these plans will help you achieve your goals.

Crafted by myself, Ray Boardman PGDipSportsMed, PGDipRehab, PGCertSc (Exercise Science), BSc (Anatomy), DipSportsStudies this plan encapsulates my passion for the sport, my experience from completing dozens of Half and Full IRONMAN distance finishes and my success coaching hundreds of triathletes.

Being 12 weeks in duration (starting on Monday 31-January-22), these plans progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance in time for your Ironman.
