Jamaican Jerk Paste

Ingredients

  • 2 spring onions chopped
  • 3 Tbsp thyme leaves
  • 2.5 cm piece of ginger peeled and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 Tbsp ground allspice
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 limes juice
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 large red chillies
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a small food processor and blitz until well combined.
