20 week Kinloch Off Road Challenge Trail Run Training Plan starts 25-Apr-22

The perfect finale to the Run Taupō Trail Series, this event takes you on a journey through the world-class trail network in and around Kinloch, Taupō. With each course offering something very different from the next, there’s something awesome for everyone. Whether you’re headed out past the picturesque Kawakawa Bay in the marathon, around the headland loop for the half marathon, or up the Whangamata stream on the 5km or 10km courses, you are guaranteed to enjoy stunning views and top notch trails.

Programmes designed for either beginner or intermediate runners who are looking to complete their trail running event, these plans will help you achieve your goals.

Crafted by myself, Ray Boardman PGDipSportsMed, PGDipRehab, PGCertSc (Exercise Science), BSc (Anatomy), DipSportsStudies this plan encapsulates my passion for the sport, my experience from completing dozens of marathon events and triathlons and my success coaching hundreds of athletes.

Being 20 weeks in duration (starting on Monday 25-April-22), these plans progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance in time for your Trail Run.
