This week I competed in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Triathlon Championships in Wanaka. This is a long travel as this is the South Island and I’m from the North Island, we left on the Tuesday and flew from Auckland airport to Queenstown as there are no direct flights to Wanaka.View More Monday’s with Jessica [Ep 12]: New Zealand Secondary Schools Triathlon Championships

I just want to say thanks. It wasn’t until I progressed through the race and experienced all the highs and lows that your advice really kicked in.
Before the race, I didn’t know I could do it physically – and that was my worry. From the training programme though I was very well prepared.

“When Ray asked me to write an article on my Spring Challenge experience I thought heck I could easily write a novel. But he required only 200 words. It was three weeks from the Spring Challenge kick-off. I get the important text “Ness would you want to be in my team the Stoken Hopefulls for Spring Challenge?” I didn’t need to be asked, I was in. I did feel a slight pang of guilt when I signed up. I felt like I was dropping my uncommitted teammates Marg and Rach for this other team. I had no idea of my “new” teammates’ strengths and weaknesses. I felt confident I had a good base level of fitness.View More Spring Challenge
“As a first timer and relatively new to the sport of Triathlon, Ray and Andrea provided me with the expertise, advise and a training plan to get me not only to the start line but also to the finish line for my first 1/2 ironman. Their input was invaluable and I would highly recommend all those first timers to consider seriously using the services of Qwik Kiwi.”View More Cindy Gordon: First Timer
