Clatters Chatter: Thanks Ray
Some time must be taken to thank the people around you and all the hard work they have put in as a contribution towards you and others. Today I will be thanking Ray, for all his coaching so far and what he has done for me.
Even though I did not know what I was doing, Ray gave me a structured weekly training schedule. With training facts and data I had not even heard about, like things such as stress score, fatigue, threshold limitations and more. He has given me access to Training Peaks, a great website to record your training and keep it stored to see how you are doing.
I have been with Ray for about 8 months now and it has been pretty cool, some of the workouts have been challenging but fun at the same time. I have learnt more about my training and how it effects me and different parts of my body.
Although we have had moments of bad, when I decide I want to do some more training, I get told pretty quickly that I need to come back to bases and just hold off a little, as it isn’t improving me its just making me more tired.
I hope I can inspire others to join this wonderful coach and join me on this journey to find your optimal potential. It has been an honor to do so and I’m sure you would like it as well. Just give it a try.
I have a few weeks before the half now, so I better get back to training for that, will talk again next week about something else that comes to mind. Cheers.
