Only make this sauce if you want the most flavoursome sauce that enhances any meal you use it in.
Italian Tomato Sauce
- 1 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 Tbsp rice bran oil
- 400 g 3x tomatoes
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp mixed dried herbs
- 3 Tbsp honey or date puree
- In a pot, saute onion, garlic and oil until clear.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until bubbling.
- Blend all of the sauce with a stick blender.
