Thursday Training Plan – 24-week Christchurch Half Marathon & Marathon Training Plans

The Christchurch Half & Full Marathon is arguably one of the fastest half and full marathons in New Zealand. When you cross the finish line you will have achieved something special at this great event.

Programmes designed for either beginner or intermediate runners who are looking to complete the Christchurch Marathon or Half Marathon, these plans will help you achieve your goals.

Crafted by myself, Ray Boardman PGDipSportsMed, PGDipRehab, PGCertSc (Exercise Science), BSc (Anatomy), DipSportsStudies this plan encapsulates my passion for the sport, my experience from completing dozens of half and full marathon events and my success coaching hundreds of runners and triathletes.

Being 24 weeks in duration (starting on Monday 18-October-21), these plans progress through phases to build you to your peak performance in time for the Christchurch Marathon or Half Marathon.
