Mike’s Middle Distance Magic: Thinking About The First Tri!

With 6 weeks to go and still not showing any signs of consistency, wondering what’s in store come race day is pretty scary!

I’ve not got much to write as if truth be told, I was hoping I would be a lot further on in my training by this point! Fitness has really took its toll due to lack of consistency and I’m wanting it to change!

I’ve been reading through my blogs the past couple of days to try to find some inspiration, but I’ve found that I write a lot about my negative experiences and not much about positive ones! So that would be a starting point. If I think positive I’ll have positive results!

I came across my expectations of last years first triathlon, which is the same one I’m doing this year. And thought I’d post it back. At the time I was a bit disappointed with this. But to be honest I actually think I preformed quite well! I got a 2 minute PB.

Last years blog just before race day!

To be honest I don’t know what else to write other than if I’m wanting a positive experience and race this year I really need to pull my finger out and get the sessions ticked off!
