Mike’s Middle Distance Magic: Christmas Tree Time!

This week once again started great, with the only session missed the hill run, mainly as it just wasn’t safe! The temperature has dropped and it was really icy under foot!

Besides that the bike and swim workouts went as planned and I feel they are improving, which is obviously the aim.

Then the weekend came! It was the 1st on the weekend which means one thing in the Catton family household! It’s house decorating time! Now after a year trying to find all the Christmas decorations in the loft is a workout in itself, never mind putting them up, haha. Safe to say the long workouts drifted away again. This record is definitely broken, and not been fixed!

However it’s a new month, it’s 4 and half months till the tri season starts and if I don’t start taking this seriously it’s going to be a very embarrassing season come April!

so that’s it, plain and simple it’s simply time to take it seriously. Been a struggle this year getting training in for various reasons, new year resolutions can’t wait till January for me, it’s time to start them in December.

once again thanks for listening, and il be back next week to talk about a positive week!
