Honey-Cayenne Grilled Porked Chops

A bit more kick than expected, but full of lavour and packing a punch.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ancho chili powder or New Mexican red chili powder
  • t tsp ground red (cayenne) pepper
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 pork chops (1" thick)
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, red pepper, salt, and black pep-per. Lightly coat the pork chops all over with cooking spray and season both sides with the spice mixture. Drizzle the honey evenly over both sides.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the chops for 10 to 14 minutes, turning once, or until a thermometer inserted in the center registers 160°F. Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
