Starting 10 weeks before the Big Tahuna (on 24 December 2018), this plan progresses through phases to build you to your peak performance.

3km Big Tahuna Training Plan (INTERMEDIATE 10wk plan)
Designed for Intermediate Swimmers who are looking to complete the Big Tahuna Ocean Swim event, the primary goal of this training plan is to prepare you to COMPLETE YOUR event.
Prior to using this plan, you should be able to complete a 3,000m swim workout.
Each week typically contains 3x swims and a flexibility session. Although not necessary, I recommend using a GPS watch (such as a Garmin).

Designed for Beginner/Intermediate Swimmers who are looking to complete the Big Tahuna Ocean Swim event, the primary goal of this training plan is to prepare you to COMPLETE YOUR event.

Each week typically contains 3x swims, as well as an open water swim session and a flexibility session. Although not necessary, I recommend using a GPS watch (such as a Garmin).
