UltraHumps – Can Ya Do An Ironman…My Story!

I discovered Ironman simply by chance which I will describe in this blog, I was intrigued, in my mid-forties, but also over weight, high blood pressure, unfit, couldn’t swim, didn’t know how to use clip in shoes on a bike let alone know where the gears were in the brakes, ate crap food, drank to much alcohol and when I look back I was on a path of self destruction. So when I turned a leaf and signed up for my first Ironman ‘then’ decided to change my ways described above, people even told me or laughed in my face that I was kidding myself and couldn’t do an Ironman… This is my story to hopefully encourage others, Ironman motto after all is “Anything Is Possible”!

Friday Fartlek Run: Triathlon Taren’s Short & Hard Treadmill Hill Reps

Although I’m not often a fan of running on a Treadmill, this type of session is an exception. You can use the treadmill to control the gradient and also the pace. This session takes the best bit of treadmill running and gives you great bang for your time working out. It is perfect for both full and half marathon runners and triathletes alike.
